What LTE Media is

LTE Media is the trip photo service of Leisure Travel Enterprises ("LTE", "we", "us"). Each group trip gets a private online gallery where travelers can view photos and add their own. There are no traveler accounts. Access is through a private link and a password given to your travel group.

What we collect

The photos and videos you choose to upload, along with the information stored inside those files by your camera, such as the date, time, and sometimes the location where a photo was taken. That embedded information helps the gallery sort photos by day and place. We also keep basic technical logs that any web service keeps, like the kind described in the LTE Travel Privacy Policy.

Uploading is always a choice. Nothing is ever pulled from your phone automatically. You pick each photo you share.

Who can see your photos

Photos you add to a trip gallery are visible to the other travelers in your group and to the LTE team. Galleries are not public, not listed on search engines, and not visible to other travel groups. The password keeps casual outsiders out, but please remember that anyone in your group can download photos and share them onward, the same as any photo you text to a friend.

How your photos may be used

• Delivering your trip back to you. Finding your photos, building the group gallery, and sending you your own pictures after the trip. This is the whole point of the service.
• LTE marketing, with an easy out. We sometimes feature favorite group moments in our brochures, on our website, and on social media. If you would rather your photos never appear in marketing, tell your travel advisor once and we will keep them out. No hard feelings, ever.
• Nothing else. We do not sell your photos or give them to third parties, other than the technology providers that host the service for us.

The smart sorting

Our gallery software organizes photos automatically. It can also group photos by the people in them using face recognition, which lets us do things like find every photo of you from a trip without making you dig through hundreds of pictures. We may use these features on some trips and not others. When we do, recognition runs on our own systems, stays within LTE, and is never shared or sold. If you would like your photos left out of face grouping entirely, tell your travel advisor and we will exclude them.

How long galleries last

• You can add photos until 15 days after the trip ends.
• The gallery stays open for viewing and downloads for about 6 months after the trip.
• After that the gallery closes. We keep an archive copy for a reasonable period in case a traveler needs something retrieved, then it is removed.

Download your favorites while the gallery is open. Downloads are free and full quality.

Your choices

All of these are one conversation with your travel advisor away, any time:

• Remove a specific photo from the gallery.
• Keep your photos out of LTE marketing.
• Keep your photos out of face grouping.
• Have everything you uploaded deleted.

Kids

Group trips include families, and family photos are welcome in trip galleries. If you are a parent or guardian and want a photo of your child removed, tell your travel advisor and it will be taken down promptly. Children under 13 should not upload photos themselves.

Where your photos live

Photos are stored on servers in the United States, with backups held by LTE. If you are traveling with us from outside the U.S., your photos are transferred to and stored in the U.S. when you upload them.
